Cork is a stunning Apricot Springalierpoo—a thoughtful, purpose-bred blend of Cavalier, English Springer Spaniel, and Poodle. This mix was carefully chosen to harmonize size, temperament, and low-shedding traits. Beyond these physical qualities, the true magic lies in the lineage; by introducing the Springer and Poodle to the Cavalier gene pool, we are championing health diversity and heterozygosity. This forward-thinking approach is supported by leading veterinarians and geneticists worldwide to strengthen the future of the breed. For us, this litter is deeply personal. It marks the "beginning of an end," as Cork is the daughter of Adaeze, our very first Cavalier x Springer cross. Welcoming her from Adaeze's final litter is a beautiful, bittersweet milestone for our family.
Cork is just like any other F1 Cavapoo, the only difference is that the spaniel side of Cork's lineage is split between the Cavalier and the Springer which makes her a healthier and more diverse mixture for the future.

The heterozygosity test is SO IMORTANT for any Cavalier mix and breeding should only take place when a dog is at the high end of the typical range for their particular mix to maintain overall diversity and health!

Cork is CLEARED BY PARENTAGE through Canine Health Check (by Paw Print Genetics) for BOTH the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, English Springer Spaniel, and the Miniature Poodle Breed Profiles (diseases commonly carried by those breeds) and just like for our own dogs, the test includes health screening for a total of 283 other testable diseases that are uncommon (but not impossible) for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, the English Springer Spaniel, and the Miniature Poodle but are commonly found in other breeds. Both Adaeze and Leo are CLEAR for their entire breed profiles and the additional testing that Canine Health Check offers -- and while it would be redundant and unnecessary to test Trinket for the same diseases that her parents tested CLEAR for (because two CLEAR dogs cannot produce a mutated gene) -- we did so anyway as proof that "cleared by parentage" is accurate and that non-existent mutations cannot be passed down if they aren't present within a line.
AND Cork will also be DNA tested through Wisdom Panel to establish that she has good genetic diversity for the Springalierpoo hybrid, as well as, GENETIC HEALTH TESTED through Wisdom Panel for a total of 267 diseases and traits which covers all bases and uses another testing laboratory to cross-confirm the health and the healthy genes passed down through Cork's parents.
