Star is a Chocolate Tri-Colour Unfurnished Reverse F1B Cavapoo (62% Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / 38% Miniature Poodle). Star’s mother was a Cavapoo and her father was a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She has inherited the quintessential, sweet-tempered spaniel heart alongside the athletic balance and intelligence of the Poodle.

Star possesses the most endearing, gentle, and soul-soothing temperament—a signature quality of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Cavaliers are world-renowned for their deep human devotion, affectionate empathy, and quiet confidence. Star embodies these traits completely, bringing a calm, soothing presence and a soft, loving nature that instantly warms every home.

As an unfurnished Reverse F1B Cavapoo, Star plays a vital role in our program's coat genetics and health architecture. Unfurnished coats retain the soft, silky, classic spaniel texture, avoiding dense or tight Poodle curls. Because furnishings are a dominant trait, when Star is paired with our fully furnished males (whether a Cavapoo, Havapoo, or Poodle), 100% of her puppies are guaranteed to inherit a single copy of furnishings from their father. This single copy is all that is needed to ensure full, fluffy facial "teddy bear" trim while maintaining a relaxed, easy-care fleece coat with exceptional low-to-no-shedding qualities. Using an unfurnished mother like Star gives us the flexibility to introduce vital genetic diversity without ever overloading our puppies' coats with tight, mat-prone curls.

Star seamlessly combines compact size, graceful beauty, and bright intelligence. DNA testing confirms she carries two copies of the "safe gene" for shorter legs (CDPA—Chondrodysplasia), which gives her that visibly short, adorable, stocky low-rider frame that everyone falls in love with, all without exposing her or her puppies to structural risks or back deterioration.

We purchased Star from a dedicated breeder in Southern Ontario who shares our deep commitment to restoring the rich, historical coat colors of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (like chocolate and black). By introducing these ancestral wild-type alleles back into spaniel bloodlines, we are able to bring forward historic pigment diversity while strengthening the health and resilience of the breed.

Star's heart health will be verified via and ECG prior to breeding.

Star has been DNA tested through Wisdom Panel to establish that she has good genetic diversity and heterozygosity (the health of a line) for Star's unique mix, as well as, GENETIC HEALTH TESTED through Wisdom Panel for a total of 267 diseases which will be cross-referenced in her future litters where all the studs will be health screened through Canine Health Check (Paw Print Genetics) to ensure our puppies are entirely healthy.
