Your CAVAPOO Comes With The Following:
We customize each complimentary Puppy Starter Kit for each breed or mix that we raise so that their kits are geared to essential items that they will need. Each kit is a way of saying THANK YOU for giving one of our puppies a wonderful home! We want all of our puppies to have a smooth transition from our home to yours, and this is one way that we can help out! We also list what our puppies are exposed to for socialization and training at the bare minimum!
PLEASE NOTE: The exact toys, helpful items, brand names, colour schemes, ETC. will vary from litter to litter, according to puppy gender, and other variables including availability of products in stores/online. We do our best to make our kits fun and helpful for our puppy customers and their puppies -- we trust that you will love this kit!
The Puppy Starter Kit is our *GIFT* sent home with each puppy to give them the best start possible in their new homes!
The kit items are as follows:
Food and water bowl set in spill tray
Canned pumpkin
(for food transition or stress poo)
Probiotics
(enough for 7 days / boosts immune system during stress from going to a new home)
Training treats
(non-GMO treats that will not upset your puppy's tummy if fed after the first few days of transition into your home)
Lick-it mat
(training, relaxation, entertainment, etc. -- smear peanut butter, yogurt, banana, cooked egg, raw food, etc. / can also freeze)
Treat ball
(throw it or pack it with small training treats for your puppy to roll around for enrichment when treats fall out)
Training clicker
(let your puppy know *instantly* that they did something right to boost training and then reward with a treat)

(for on the go)

(enough food for 7 days / please start transitioning to a new food on day 2 in small amounts and gradually increasing to new food / sent home in a cooler bag)

(blanket with mom and littermates scent to help with transition to new home / can double as level 1 enrichment by rolling or folding up treats inside)
Enrichment Puzzle
(place treats inside puzzle for your puppy to solve how to get a reward / use for enrichment, mental stimulation, keeping puppy busy, overall fun, and teaching to eat slow, etc. / level 2 puzzle)
Health Stuff:
- dewormed by breeder at 2, 4, & 6 weeks of age (dewormed with Pyrantel Pamoate which is an equivalent of StrongidT or with Bayer Quad dewormer or Drontal)
- health examination (performed by a licensed veterinarian at 7-8 weeks)
- 1st booster vaccination & additional deworming (these are performed by a licensed veterinarian at 7-8 weeks and another deworming given at the same time as the vaccination -- these items are what will be shown on your puppy's health record)
- vaccination schedule (info link will be given)
- Purchase Agreement which includes up to a 5 year congenital health guarantee (against life-threatening defects) if fed a raw diet (please see our Puppy Purchase Agreement for details)
- health record (record of vaccination and deworming performed by vet at 7-8 weeks)
- birth certificate (showing the puppy's name, the parents of the puppy, the breed of your puppy, and your puppy's date of birth)

Puppy Socialization & Training:
- handled daily from birth onward (our puppies feel our hands from the moment they take their first breath as we care for them, cuddle them, play with them, and love them!)
- Puppy Culture Bi-Sensor Program (please see video and scroll through diagram for information)
1. Tactical stimulation (between toes): Holding the pup in one hand, the handler gently stimulates (tickles) the pup between the toes on any one foot using a Q-tip. It is not necessary to see that the pup is feeling the tickle. Time of stimulation 3 to 5 seconds. (Figure 1)
2. Head held erect: Using both hands, the pup is held perpendicular to the ground, (straight up), so that its head is directly above its tail. This is an upwards position. Time of stimulation 3 to 5 seconds. (Figure 2)
5. Thermal stimulation: Use a damp towel that has been cooled in a refrigerator for at least five minutes. Place the pup on the towel, feet down. Do not restrain it from moving. Time of stimulation 3 to 5 seconds. (Figure 5)
