COVID SAFETY MEASURES
With relaxed restrictions, at this time, our only requirement is mask wearing as the puppies are often viewed indoors and COVID is still circulating.
We take all possible precautions for cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces in the puppy viewing area with Lysol and other disinfectants said to kill the COVID virus.
Please be respectful and do NOT visit in-person if you are sick or have been exposed to anyone that is sick. We have the option of Skype Video Calls in the event that a family or individual can't visit for any reason.
On this page, you will find out everything you need to know about our waiting list procedures and what it will take to get on our lists, what to expect once you are on our lists, and how to remain on our waiting lists! Only approved applicants will be placed on our waiting lists and we do expect everyone to read this page in its entirety! It's definitely a lot of information, but it's the enforcement of these procedures that keep our puppy customers happy!
On this page, you will be able to read our Puppy Purchase Agreement which must be signed on the day that you pick up your puppy at 8 weeks of age. The Agreement outlines the care that you must provide for your puppy within the parameters that we have set after working in conjunction with our veterinarian to ensure the health and safety of our puppies, and it also states our responsibility as the breeder to all of our puppies -- it benefits both sides!
On this page, you will be able to see the complete breakdown of our puppy prices and payment schedule so there are no surprises and it comprises our extensive Puppy Starter Kit which is sent home with each of our puppies valuing $140 to $150. We put a lot of dedication and commitment into raising well socialized, happy and healthy puppies, and we also offer an exclusive and compulsory "Taking Puppy Home Online Instructional" that covers everything you need to know about puppy care and training within the first year of your puppy's life! We want all of our puppies to have the best life possible and each litter we have at Pleasant Meadows has been meticulously planned out from start to finish with the purpose to create a wonderful family companion dog of sound temperament and health!
On this page, you will find our specific procedures of bi-security that we need everyone to follow in order to keep our puppies safe from diseases and parasites and could unknowingly be tracked into our home when families come to visit. We will also outline important rules on how to properly greet our dogs and how to handle our puppies in a manner in which keeps them safe! It is very important that you read through these rules so that you know what to expect when you arrive to view the puppies and to meet the parents. We will not tolerate rowdiness, chasing of our dogs, screaming (even in excitement), and if your children are afraid of dogs, we ask that you please leave them at home so that you can focus on choosing a puppy that will be a good match for your family without any added distraction.
On this page, you will find a glimpse into a single day with puppies when visitors are scheduled to arrive. There is a lot for us to prepare and maintain, and this page details a good portion of it. Hopefully, you can understand the depth of the work that goes into keeping visitation time as safe and as germ-free as possible for our puppies, and making your visit as pleasant as possible too! The information outlined on this page may not pertain to everyone, but it's here simply because we have dealt with individuals who have shown no respect for the reasoning behind our policies and procedures that keep our puppies healthy so that you can enjoy them! Please be respectful and use courtesy and common sense!
