Meaning: "Precious Little Treaure"
(Cavapoo bred to a Springalier)
Trinket is vivacious, sweet and sensitive!
Weight: 12.3 lbs (5.6 kg)
Height: 13.5 inches at the shoulder
A little Trinket thing:
Like any typical Fairy, Tink is mostly good, but she only has room for one emotion at a time!
Trinket is a Liver and White Springalierpoo which specifically for Trinket is a unique cross between an Springalier (English Springer Spaniel crossed with a Cavalier) and the Cavapoo. Trinket has received the small size of the Cavalier and will be a bridge between our current and future plans in our transition from raising the Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and the Cavapoo to eventually raising the Springerdoodle and Brittanydoodle.
Trinket is *similar* to an F1B Reverse Cavapoo, the only difference is that the spaniel side of Trinket's lineage is split between the Cavalier and the Springer which makes her a healthier and more diverse mixture for the future.
Examples some of our past F1B Reverse Cavapoos:
(Amelia - RETIRED, Amedeo - RETIRED, and Emma - RETIRED)
We purchased Trinket as a puppy from a breeder in Northern Ontario.
Both her parents come from pure and healthy lines.
Patellas: Grade 0 / NORMAL
Blood Panel: NORMAL
Canine Health Check: CLEARED BY PARENTAGE
(Canine Health Check screens for more than 250 different inherited diseases and traits)
WISDOM PANEL: CLEAR / NORMAL
(TOP OF THE AVERAGE RANGE FOR HETEROZYGOSITY WHICH LOWERS THE RISK OF GENETIC DISEASE)
The heterozygosity test is SO IMORTANT for any Cavalier mix and breeding should only take place when a dog
is at the high end of the typical range for their particular mix to maintain overall diversity and health!
We paid to have BOTH of Trinket's parents tested through Canine Health Check before we purchased Trinket and their results came back as CLEAR for both the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & English Springer Spaniel Breed Profiles (diseases commonly carried by the breeds) and just like for our own dogs, the test includes health screening for a total of 254 other testable diseases that are uncommon (but not impossible) for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & the English Springer Spaniel, but are commonly found in other breeds. Trinket's parents' results came back as CLEAR which makes Trinket CLEAR BY PARENTAGE and it would be redundant to test Trinket -- CLEAR can ONLY produce CLEAR.
AND Trinket has also been DNA tested through Wisdom Panel to establish that she has good genetic diversity for the Springalier hybrid, as well as, GENETIC HEALTH TESTED for through Wisdom Panel for a total of 210 diseases and traits!
